Hector L. Rodriguez was born in 1976.

Hector was raised by godly parents and was saved and baptized at the age of 5.

Hector received a college degree from Fires of Evangelism Institute. Soon after graduation he was ordained as a Preacher of God's Word.  In May of 2000 he married Cheryl Rodriguez. They have three children, Hector Rodriguez III, David Rodriguez, and Brianna Rodriguez

Hector worked for and was trained by Dr. Elmer Fernandez for ten years. In 2008 he was hired by the Marion Avenue Baptist Church as the Spanish pastor of Iglesia Bautista Marion Avenue.  Hector has been in the ministry now for a total of eleven years.

The Spanish church now runs an average of 130 - 150 every Sunday. In the last 10 months the Spanish church has grown 400% in the midweek service, over 200% Sunday night service, and about 40% in the Sunday morning service. The Spanish church averages well over a dozen people on their weekly soul winning time every Saturday morning. In a small city of 350 registered Spanish, God has blessed the hard work of the people of Marion Avenue Baptist Church!

We believe this is just the beginning of what God wants to do through Hector, in this small Spanish community. He is currently praying to see if God will allow the Spanish church to begin running bus routes to Spanish areas. 

In addition to being the Spanish Pastor, Hector is heavily involved as a vital part of the Pastoral staff team.  He is being greatly used of God through the Marion Avenue Baptist Church.
